Police Searching for Strong-Armed Robbery Suspects

The robberies appear to be unrelated.

Arcadia Police are on the hunt for two strong-armed robbery suspects Wednesday afternoon. The robberies, which occurred simultaneously, appear to be unrelated, police say.

According to scanner reports, the first incident took place at Tapioca Express shortly before 4:30 p.m. A man allegedly slipped a note to a youth, demanding the youth's cell phone.

The suspect is described as a 30-year-old Asian man, 5 foot 9, wearing a white collared shirt and sunglasses.

The second incident—this one at Bonita Park—occurred around the same time as the first incident. The suspect also demanded a cell phone, scanner reports state.
