Police Seek Community Help in Finding Woman Suspected of Grand Theft

On Friday the released a photo taken by a security camera of a woman suspected of grand theft.

According to a statement released by Sgt. Tom Le Veque, the reported theft occurred on Wednesday, March 16 at 745 W. Naomi Avenue. A victim reported her wallet stolen out of her purse sometime between 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Shortly thereafter, the victim found out that her credit cards were used to make purchases at the Nordstrom and Daniel’s Jewelers at Westfield Santa Anita Mall. Police are still investigating if the cards were used to make additional fraudulent purchases.

In the released photo, the woman is described as "Female, possibly Hispanic, 5'-04"/140-150 lbs, dark straight hair."

Police are requesting that anyone with information on the crime contact Arcadia Police Detectives at 626-574-5160.
