Possible Hail, Thunderstorms in the Forecast

Along with Monday’s rain, Arcadia could also possibly get hail and thunderstorms into early Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

While residents should be aware of rain causing possible street flooding due to lingering debris from the , residents should also watch out for potential thunderstorms and hail.


The possibility for this weather starts Monday afternoon and lasts until early Tuesday morning, but rain and any accompanying thunder or hail should be gone by later Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued the following forecast for the Arcadia area:

Monday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 4 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 a.m. Some of the storms could produce small hail. Low around 45. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers before 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph.
