Southern California Edison customers in downtown are in the dark due to a power outage caused by an underground vault on Baldwin Avenue and Huntington Drive.

The outage extends from the north to Eastern Santa Clara Avenue: from the south to Campus Drive: from the east to 3rd Avenue, and: from the west to South Old Ranch Road.

SCE is on scene to fix the blown vault, said.

It is unclear when power will be restored.
