Power Outage in Downtown Arcadia

Southern California is working to restore power to its customers.

Southern California Edison restores power to the 1,637 customers in the dark during the outage, says SCE Spokesman Paul Klein.

Southern California Edison customers in downtown are in the dark due to a power outage caused by an underground vault on Baldwin Avenue and Huntington Drive.

The outage extends from the north to Eastern Santa Clara Avenue: from the south to Campus Drive: from the east to 3rd Avenue, and: from the west to South Old Ranch Road.

SCE is on scene to fix the blown vault, said.

It is unclear when power will be restored.

This marks the second in Arcadia this summer.
