UPDATE: 60 Remain Without Power in Chapman Woods Outage

All power should be restored by 11 p.m. on Monday, SCE says.

Around 60 Southern California Edison customers remain without power in Chapman Woods, an unincorporated area between Pasadena and Arcadia, SCE Spokesperson Paul Klein said Monday.

The outage began at 10:07 a.m. and initially affected 1,617 customers, Klein said, adding that power should be restored by 11 p.m. on Monday.

The outage resulted from a downed power line.

Meanwhile, an unrelated outage in the Village section of Arcadia began Monday at 6:28 a.m. and ended at 12:05 p.m., when SCE restored power to all 1,691 customers affected.

That outage was the result of equipment clogged by palm fronds, Klein said.
