Surviving a Shooting: 'Run, Hide, Fight' (Video)

In the wake of Friday's Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department shared the 'Run, Hide, Fight' videos created by the City of Houston that give tips to help survive an active shooting event.

The mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn. has shaken the country and left people wondering what they would do in a similar situation if a shooter appeared at a school or other public place.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department shared the “Run. Hide. Fight.” videos this weekend that give tips on surviving an active shooter event.

The videos are a Department of Homeland Security Grant Funded Project produced by the City of Houston and are available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. The English and Spanish versions are attached to this post. Warning: The video contains some graphic images.
