Wind Advisory for the San Gabriel Valley

Gusts of up to 40 mph could hit

The National Weather Service has put out a wind advisory for the San Gabriel Valley, along with the rest of Los Angeles County. The advisory will remain in effect until 2 p.m. Friday.

Residents should expect northeast winds with gusts of 15 to 25 miles per hour and up to 40 mph in the hills.

Winds are expected to peak Wednesday afternoon or early evening. They will likely taper off Friday morning before subsiding by Friday afternoon.

Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to hover in the early to mid-60's during the day and drop into the upper 30's at night.
