Arcadia Assemblyman Offering Free Tax Help
Anthony Portantino, who represents Arcadia, and John Chiang are sponsoring a free program to help community members do their taxes.
If you make less than $49,000 a year, you are eligible to be part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, through which you can receive free tax help.
On Saturday, April 9, from 3-8 p.m., the tax assistance services will be offered at El Centro de Acción in Pasadena (37 E. Del Mar Blvd.).
If you are interested in these services, you must call ahead to make a reservation at 626-792-3148. This program is sponsored by Assemblyman Anthony Portantino (D-La Cañada Flintridge) and State Controller John Chiang.
