Ed Chau has the official endorsement of the California Democratic party, but picked up important local Democratic club endorsements as well.

From a Chau campaign press release.

After securing the official endorsement of the California Democratic Party for his Assembly campaign, candidate Ed Chau scored major support among the Democratic grassroots as he picked up the endorsements of the crucial Democratic Clubs in the 49th Assembly District: the Alhambra Democratic Club, the Monterey Park Democratic Club, and the United Democrats of the San Gabriel Valley.

“As a longtime school board member and an activist fighting for Democratic values, I am honored and humbled to have received the support of the Alhambra Democratic Club, the Monterey Park Democratic Club, and the United Democrats of the San Gabriel Valley,” said Montebello School Board Member Ed Chau, candidate for State Assembly in the 49th District.

Chau continued, “These Democratic clubs and grassroots activists are the tireless machines that have time and again mobilized to make sure that the voice of the working families are heard at every level of government in our community.  I look forward to continue working with them and bring our tradition of activism to Sacramento to create jobs, improve our schools, and fund our critically needed services.”

In addition, Chau has the backing of Congress Member Judy Chu, incumbent 49th District Assembly Member Mike Eng, State Senator Ed Hernandez, and a host of local elected officials and community leaders.
