City Council to Discuss County Issues with Supervisor Antonovich at Special Meeting

Santa Anita Canyon Road, new pool at park, Arboretum and street projects will be discussed at Wednesday meeting.

The Arcadia City Council will meet with Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich at 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning in the Council Chamber Conference Room to discuss several County issues, including the construction of a new pool at .

In addition to discussing and possibly taking action on the schedule for the construction of a new pool at the park, the Council and Supervisor Antonovich will discuss the following items:

  • A possible County take-over Santa Anita Canyon Road.
  • The 's desire to use its site as a venue for large special events.
  • Coordination on street projects with specific reference to the City's efforts to obtain a sliver of property along the County Park.

The meeting, scheduled to end at 10 a.m., is open to the public. Public comments, limited to five-minutes per person, will take place before the discussion of the agenda items.
