Election: Candidate Forum for 49th Assembly District

The three candidates vying to represent Arcadia and other San Gabriel Valley cities in the state assembly have been invited to a forum Wednesday. Do you plan to attend?

On June 5, voters from San Marino and other local cities will decide who will replace incumbent 49th District Assemblyman Mike Eng, who is termed out in November.

What began as a somewhat crowded race has been whittled down to three candidates, who have been invited to a forum Wednesday night: Monterey Park City Councilman Mitchell Ing, former San Marino Mayor Dr. Matthew Lin and Montebello Unified School District Board of Education member and attorney Edwin Chau.
