ADA Compliance Workshop Hosted by Senator Bob Huff

Senator Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) will host the second in a series of workshops designed to help business owners comply with guidelines in the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). The Arcadia Workshop, which is open to all business owners in Arcadia and the San Gabriel Valley, will be held Friday, April 1st, from 10:00 AM to Noon, at the Santa Anita Racetrack, Baldwin Conference Room at 285 West Huntington Drive in Arcadia.

Senator Huff is teaming up with the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce for the upcoming workshop in Arcadia. The goal of the event is to help business owners avoid lawsuits resulting from ADA violations and what steps business owners should take if they are sued for ADA non-compliance.

The Keynote Speaker for the Arcadia workshop is David Warren Peters, who serves as Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel for the organization Lawyers Against Lawsuit Abuse.

Senator Huff says the Arcadia workshop will not only focus on preventative measures that business owners can take to avoid ADA lawsuits, business owners will also receive helpful advice and tips of steps that should be taken if they have been targeted for ADA non-compliance.
