How to Get Tickets to the Presidential Inauguration

Rep. Judy Chu will give a few lucky constituents tickets to the Presidential Inauguration.

Want to go to Washington to see President Barack Obama get sworn in for a second term Jan. 21? Rep. Judy Chu, D-El Monte, will give a few lucky constituents free tickets to the inauguration.

The tickets are made available through the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, and winners will be picked by random lottery held Dec. 14.

Here's How It Works:

  • First, go to this Web site to make sure Chu represents you. Type in your home address. *If you do not live in Chu's district, you are not eligible for the ticket lottery. 
  • Then, fill out the ticket request form here. The last day for ticket requests is Dec. 7. 
  • The lottery will be drawn Dec. 14, and winners notified via phone and e-mail.
