Commute Alert: Planned Signal Outage
A planned signal outage will take place Friday at the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Colorado Place.
From an Arcadia Police Press Release
will be conducting a planned power outage impacting the immediate vicinity of Colorado Boulevard and Colorado Place ("Upper Y") on Friday. The outage is scheduled to be conducted between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The traffic signal at the intersection will be inoperative during the outage and stop signs will be placed.
Remember to treat inoperative or blacked out signals as stop signs. California law requires drivers to stop inoperative signals. Refer this Arcadia Police Department blog post on the topic.
The planned outage may impact traffic during the event. Please be patient or consider using alternate routes like Huntington Drive or Foothill Boulevard.
