School Board Member Endorses Tran
Nguyen backs John Tran for the 49th District seat.
Editor's note: Patch wants to make clear that the quote attributed to Cung Nguyen was from a media release sent out by the Tran campaign and Patch did not interview Mr. Nguyen, who said Feb. 4 that he did not provide the quote to the campaign.
board member Cung Nguyen threw his support behind former Rosemead mayor John Tran, a candidate for an assembly seat in the .
“I’m pleased to endorse John Tran for Assembly,” Nguyen said in a written statement released by the Tran campaign. “He’s proven himself as someone who is genuinely dedicated to the people that he represents, and I know that he’ll do everything he can to fight for better schools, more good jobs, and growth to our local economies.”
