board member Cung Nguyen threw his support behind former Rosemead mayor John Tran, a candidate for an assembly seat in the .
“I’m pleased to endorse John Tran for Assembly,” Nguyen said in a written statement released by the Tran campaign. “He’s proven himself as someone who is genuinely dedicated to the people that he represents, and I know that he’ll do everything he can to fight for better schools, more good jobs, and growth to our local economies.”
The district ncludes the cities of , San Marino, Alhambra, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, Temple City, and portions of El Monte, Montebello, South El Monte and the unincorporated community of South San Gabriel.
