Arcadia boasts three orchestras, a marching band and drum majors, varsity percussion line, various choral groups and a color guard. Several hundred students participate in these activities every year.

Here's how the program works:
Thousand of charities have applied for a grant through the program. About $5 million is available, and Chase distributes the money based on how much public support the charity receives.

The public can show their support for their favorite charity by voting on Facebook or, if they are Chase customers, through the company's Web site. Individuals can vote for up to two charities if they are Chase online banking customers.
