Congratulations Mason and Brent! You're hard work and dedication has paid off! When Mason Bryant and Brent Walsh were in 5th grade at Mayflower Elementary, I was a playground aide. The 5th grade really wanted to play football at recess but weren't allowed unless an aide would over see the "game". I love football so I volunteered to be that aide. There were many students that impacted me that year because of football. Good sportsmanship, team players, hard workers - but Mason and Brett stood out as leaders - even then. I have said hi in the neighborhood or at different schools when I've seen them. They always call me by my name and ask how I am - no matter how long it's been since the last run-in. Thank you Mason and Brett for making that 1st year of mine in the district so special and fun. I know you will make all of Monrovia proud.
