New Arcadia High School Principal Named

Dr. Brent Forsee of Monrovia will take over for Principal David Vannasdall.

Dr. Brent Forsee is new principal. He takes the reins from Principal David Vannasdall, who received a promotion to deputy superintendent position.

who became superintendent of the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. Vannasdall has being serving in dual capacity while awaiting the appointment of the new principal.

Forsee comes to Arcadia from the Los Alamitos Unified School District in Orange County, where he serves as a high school principal and the Director of Assessment. He previously held an assistant principal position in the Glendale Unified School District, and taught special education in the San Diego Unified School District.

Forsee grew up in the San Gabriel Valley, graduating from Pasadena High School. He earned degrees in History and Special Education, as well as School Administration, from Point Loma Nazarene University. He earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California.

Forsee lives with his wife and their 14-month-old daughter in Monrovia.
