Watch: AHS Gears Up for 'Drowsy Chaperone'

The production marks the first in the Arcadia Performing Arts Center.

The Arcadia High School theater department's production of the Tony Award-winning "The Drowsy Chaperone" opens Thursday.

The production tells the story of the Man in the Chair (Liam Swan) as he puts on a vinyl record of his favorite musical, the fictional 1928 hit "The Drowsy Chaperone" — which comes to life onstage as the record plays.

This marks the first production at the brand new state-of-the-art 40,000-square-foot Performing Arts Center, which seats 1,200.
