Free Fridays Back at Santa Anita

Come to the races for free on Fridays beginning March 23.

From a Santa Anita Park press release.

"Free Fridays" return to Santa Anita Park on Friday. All on-track attendees will receive free General Admission.

“’Free Fridays’ was a very popular promotion here a few years back and we feel this is a good time to reintroduce it,” said Thoroughbred owner Mark Verge, on behalf of the Stronach Group. “With the (Grade I) Santa Anita Derby coming up on April 7, we think this is a great way for us to try and reach out to a large number of new and casual fans and get the Derby on their radar.

“There’s no question ‘Free Fridays’ drives on-track attendance and it helps set the table each weekend.  We want people to know we’re going to be more competitive than ever and that we’re going to do everything we can to make their trip to Santa Anita an unforgettable experience—every time they come.”

Santa Anita’s 72-day Winter/Spring meeting runs through April 22. For more information, or to make dining and seating reservations, visit www.santaanita.com or call (626) 574-RACE.
