Willa B Awesome won the historic Santa Anita Oaks stakes Saturday in a close victory over Reneesgotzip.
The 3-year-old filly, ridden by Martin Pedroza, ran 1 1-16 miles in 1:42.47. According to the Washington Post, the victory increased her career winnings to $428,896.
