Arcadia Celebrates Birthday With National Night Out

Arcadia will celebrate its 109th birthday by participating in National Night Out. The celebration also includes the tunes of Cold Duck and free cake while supplies last.

Back by popular demand: National Night Out and Arcadia’s birthday celebration is set for Thursday. The annual event takes place in conjunction with Arcadia's free summer concert series on the City Hall lawn.

National Night Out promotes crime prevention and awareness through police/community partnerships. Arcadia’s and departments will be on hand. Take advantage of free fingerprinting for the kids, crime prevention materials and other information.

When you get hungry, da Burger Boss Gourmet Food Truck will gladly help calm those hunger pangs. A portion of the proceeds from the burger sales will go to the Recreation and Community Services Department.

And what would a birthday celebration be without cake? The city will provide free slices of cake (available while supplies last) to celebrate Arcadia's 109th birthday.

The festivities begin Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on the City Hall West Lawn located at 240 West Huntington Drive. As always, admission and parking are free.
