More Searing Heat Expected in Arcadia Wednesday
The heat wave will continue Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The most recent heat wave to sweep across Arcadia is expected to keep temperature highs near the triple digits through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures in Arcadia hit a high of 96 degrees Tuesday, with a high of 97 degrees forecast on Wednesday, the NWS reports. Temperatures should drop down into the lower 90s as the weekend approaches.
The most recent heat wave is caused by "strong upper level high pressure over the desert southwest combined with weak onshore flow near the surface," according to the NWS. High temperatures should persist through Wednesday in the valleys, lower mountain areas and deserts, NWS said.
