Adoptable animals at the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA and information on November 8 vaccine clinic

Meet Jacky, Basil, Poppy and Penny! These four animal companions would love to find their forever homes.

A315150  — Jacky is a one-year-one-month-old tan Jindo/Sharpei mix. He has a lot of puppy energy and enjoys going for walks.  He’d be great for an experienced dog owner in a structured home environment. His adoption fee is $120.

A314809  —Basil is quite the dapper three-year-old brown tabby. He’s very friendly, social, affectionate and loves attention. He’s stays in our communal cat room and does well with other cats.  His adoption fee is $70.

A316629 — Poppy is a two-year-old brown female rabbit. She’s a curious bunny and can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly. Her adoption fee is $30.

A317186 — Penny came into our care with quite the predicament. She accidentally swallowed a penny, hence her name, and a marble! Our veterinarians were able to remove the objects, but Penny needs time to recovery from surgery. She’s a sweet seven-month-old terrier mix. Call our adoptions office for more information at (626) 792-7151.

The adoption fee includes the animal’s spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, the first set of vaccinations, as well as a free follow-up health check at a participating vet. New adopters will receive complimentary health and wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals. Ask an adoptions counselor for more information during your visit.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at 626.792.7151 and refer to the animal’s “A” number, or visit us  at 361 S. Raymond Ave in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11-4 Sunday, 9-5 Tuesday –Friday and 9-4 Saturday. Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters from phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found atwww.pasadenahumane.org.

Our next public low cost vaccine clinic for cats and dogs is Thursday, November 8 at Memorial Park in Sierra Madre from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
