Adoptable animals and info on public vaccine clinic

The holiday season is just around the corner. Maybe one of these three animal companions will be the newest addition to your family just in time for the festivities!  November is also Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month. Senior pets are in need of loving homes too and can sometimes adjust easier to homelife than a younger animal. If you're 60 years old or older you can qualify for our Seniors for Seniors program for animals five years old or older. The adoption fee is waived and all you pay is the $20 mandatory microchip fee. If you're ready to adopt, visit our website, or better yet stop on by the shelter at 361 S. Raymond Ave., Pasadena 91105.

A316509 — Smokey is an 11-month-old black and tan German shepherd. He’s a sweet puppy and loves to go for walks. He earned his Blue Ribbon too! Smokey is recovering from a skin condition so an attentive family would be great for him. His adoption fee is $95.

A313130 — Finn is a sweet seven-month-old red and white tabby. She can be a bit shy at first, but she warms up. She stays in our communal cat room and does well with other cats. Her adoption fee is $70.Watch her video here:http://youtu.be/bLXFf9xD6R4

A316629 — Poppy is a two-year-old brown female rabbit. She’s a curious bunny and can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly. Her adoption fee is $30. Watch her video here:http://youtu.be/bLXFf9xD6R4

More animals are featured on our twice-monthly TV show for the City of Glendale. Watch the YouTube video for their segments.

The adoption fee includes the animal’s spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, the first set of vaccinations, as well as a free follow-up health check at a participating vet. New adopters will receive complimentary health and wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals. Ask an adoptions counselor for more information during your visit.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at 626.792.7151 and refer to the animal’s “A” number, or visit us  at 361 S. Raymond Ave in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11-4 Sunday, 9-5 Tuesday –Friday and 9-4 Saturday. Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters from phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found atwww.pasadenahumane.org.

Our next public low cost vaccine clinic for cats and dogs is tonight, Thursday, November 8 at Memorial Park in Sierra Madre from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
