Alaena Hostetter is a journalist who lives and works in Los Angeles.  A native of Dallas, Texas, Alaena was drawn to Los Angeles by the year-round beautiful weather, plethora of natural diversions and endless opportunities for great stories.
Alaena earned a master's degree in journalism from USC's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and a bachelor's degree in English from Trinity University.  Her work has appeared on ABCnews.com and KCET's SoCal Connected. When she's not seeking out compelling stories, Alaena likes to spend time with her dogs.
