Though I spent four years on the East Coast for college, Orange County has been my home for most of my life. I was born in Fullerton and raised in Brea, going to Fairmont Prep Academy in Anaheim for high school. It was there that I first discovered my love of writing and reporting the news. While in Boston, my proudest accomplishment was becoming editor-in-chief of The Daily Free Press, BU's independent student newspaper. There, I worked with the hardest working group of student journalists in the city and learned everything I know about what it means to deliver the news to a community thousands strong. In the summer of 2011, I joined Patch's first group of interns, working in the San Fernando Valley. I've been writing and editing for Patch ever since.
