Arcadia Police Investigating Bones Found at Hugo Reid Elementary
Investigators are trying to determine if the bones are from a human or animal after they were unearthed Monday morning.
A construction crew at Hugo Reid Elementary School unearthed bones and officers are on scene to determine if they are human, a police official said.
Police responded to the call from the school at 11:39 p.m. after the bones were discovered during a construction project, Arcadia Police Lt. Tom Cullen said.
"We'll try and determine if they're animal or human and go from there," Cullen said.
No other information was immediately available, Cullen said.
