Sauté Culinary Academy opened at 14 E. Duarte Avenue eight months ago and its chefs have taught daily cooking courses there ever since.
Owner Alex Reyes, an Arcadia native and Le Cordon Bleu graduate, started the school after working as a chef in the area at places like Mi Piaci in Pasadena and Nick's in South Pasadena.
In addition to daily courses in various international cuisines, Sauté also caters and hosts private parties.
